Hi, I’m Macy.
I didn’t learn about money from some fancy finance degree or climbing a corporate ladder. I learned it the way most of us do, by working a bunch of random jobs, messing up my budget more times than I can count, and slowly figuring out what actually works in real life.
Since I was a teenager, I’ve basically done every job under the sun. I’ve washed dogs, worked the pharmacy counter through peak COVID, closed KFC every Friday and Saturday night, pouring endless beers at 1am, ran the gaming room behind a bar, and worked events with crowds so big you can’t hear yourself think. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I trained as an electrical apprentice, learned how to drive boom lifts and scissor lifts, supervised safety on live construction sites, and even moved cities for a year just to start fresh.
None of that looks like a “finance journey,” but honestly? Those jobs taught me more about money than any textbook ever could. How to stretch a bad paycheck. How to save when you actually have a goal. How to start over when life flips your plans upside down. And how much confidence you get from actually understanding your own numbers instead of just hoping for the best.
That’s why I built this platform. It’s for people like me, people who didn’t grow up talking about investing at the dinner table, who’ve worked hard for every dollar, and who just want money explained in normal human words. No jargon. No judgment. No pretending you should already know everything.
